This costume is based on an illustration from
a Junko Mizuno artbook. I really enjoy her artwork
for it's bizarre quality and dark sense of humor.
I made this costume for Acen 2006 because Junko
Mizuno herself was going to be a guest there!
We got to meet her, she was very excited to see
our costumes and she had her translator take pictures
of the three of us together! It was so great!
:) She even signed the back of our jackets, which
you can see in some of the pictures. :) |
